1. Can my tiles be used outdoors?

   Yes! All of our Hand Glazed art tiles are hard fired at over 1850 degrees F. making them virtually weatherproof for lasting beauty outdoors and indoors!

2. Can my tiles be used in floors, pools, fireplaces, countertops, backsplashes, garden area, outdoor walls, furniture, etc.?

   Yes! Because of the unique methods used, they will withstand heat, water, traffic, cold, sunlight, and many other elements that would destroy other art.

3. Will my tiles fade in the sunlight?

   No! Unlike other tiles on the market, our tiles will NEVER fade even in the harshest sunlight.

4. How do I clean my tiles?

   Simply wipe off with an appropriate cleaner and your non porous surface will come back to life with all its brilliance!

5. If my tile has a wooden backing for use as a hotplate, can I take this backing off so that the tile can be used outdoors?

   Yes! Because the wooden backing is not weatherproof you must first remove the backing before using your tile where outdoor elements are present. To do this, simply place a flathead screwdriver between the tile and the wooden backing and GENTLY twist as you go around the tile.

6. Is the check out portion of this website secure?

   Hand-N-Hand Designs takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

   When our registration/order process asks users to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL.  While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example a billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to secure customer information.

   If you would like to view the SSL certificate for our website click on the "My Account" link in the red navigation bar.  This will take you to the log-in screen, which is secure.  You will see a "Lock" either next to the address bar or in the bottom status bar in your browser.  Click or Double click the lock to view the certificate.
